Custom 10 XL steering wheel removal

Could someone provide some insight to help me rove the steering wheel. I see a snap ring groove and what looks to be a keyway but no tapped holes, or a shoulder or a centerdrilled hole to accomodate a puller. Probably shouldn't use heat as the plasic steering wheel would melt. The steering pinion is welded to other end so its gotta come out the other end. Pulling on it just hurts with no results. Thanks in advance for your help.
