Looking for info on a 197? New Englander riding lawn mower that I have... I have been unable to find an identical mower anywhere online. It has an 18HP V-twin Briggs. The serial # under the seat says 41-029-1882(the "1882" is in larger lettering). I've been trying to figure out who the true maker of it is. Also wondering what it might be worth. It runs quite nicely! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've never heard of this brand, either. However, judging by the style of the front headlights and the font of the '18/44' on the hood, I'd guess it was one of the many off-shoots produced by MTD.
