battery hook up

My uncle Jim just saved a nice Custom 6 from the clutches of the scapper, the gentle man that owned the tractor said it ran good last season but would'nt start this year year. MY question is the battery cable hook up is it a positive ground or negitive ground ?

My Custom 10 is negative ground, the red wire should go to the starter cylinoid.
