Spark plug ? Empty Spark plug ?

Post  Oldtimer December 18th 2013, 1:24 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site. I'm working on a 1966 Custom 6 that has been hidden away in a barn for at least 15 years.
It had a Champion J8C spark plug. Does anyone know if that is the correct plug and also what should the gap be?

thats a pretty common spark plug ,wouldn't know for sure about being the oem plug. if it was running condition when it was parked would be a good clue. could, with a flashlight, look inside the hole and see if there is any sign of damage, or if plug has damage to it. gap should be around 0.30 good luck with your project / tim
