New HH 120 gas cap? Fix your old one!

Hello,
I finally got tired of looking online for a new old stock or reproduction cap for the Suburban 12. So I bought a new cap made
by Kelch (same manufacturer as old one) 161493 fits Husquarna, Poulan and Craftsman. The clear lens, dial face and plastic
float are easily removed from the new one. The brown lens (used to be clear) is a bugger to pry out of the old one.
Use a belt sander or grinder to resize the lens and dial face. Leave the lens about 1/16" larger diameter than the opening
of the old cap and it should snap into the groove along the edge. The "E" and "F" should run parallel with the float rail so
you don't have to bend the pointer much. Good winter tinkering project.
