Mule spring needed 1970 SS12 Empty Mule spring needed 1970 SS12

I need a mule (Idler pulley assm.) SPRING for a 1970 SS12 item number in the manual is 4301H which is no longer available through Sears. I would like to buy an original but would be happy if someone could give me the length and diameter and maybe I can make one up. Help the lawn is looking like a hay field Smile
