Restoration...need help...parts??

Hey guys! I'm new...Anyways, I've begun my first restoration project on a 1972 Sears Suburban SS 15. The model # for the tractor is 917.25381. I am currently having what seems to be a common problem with these tractors. I cannot remove the steering wheel. I have drilled out the key way, applied heat and completely destroyed the plastic around the wheel....LOL! I do have an exact matching tractor, but I doubt I will get that steering wheel off either...I don't want to ruin that.
