sears super 12 hydro-trac tractor

i am trying to bring this back to life but only support from sears is air cleaner parts and plug. has craftsman engine mod#143-592022 ser#08119. missing gas tank, brackets, battery mount, and, as yet, don't know what else. sears tells me is 1987 product. does anyone know where i can get a repair manual? sears can't help on managemyhome. i have assembly/operator manual and parts list catalog if i can help anyone along these lines. am reluctant to start digging into it until i get some backup by a book. engine is a healthy looking one hole and tagged as CRAFTSMAN so don't know if B&S or Tecumseh or other. compression is good but no spark to plug so no fire. need to know where coil is and if new one is available. sears is a no-no on coil. i used to set my coils on my mowers by just putting in a regular cheapie business card and then tighten all of the nuts and bolts and it worked well. tractor has quite a few attachments for the three point hitch so want to get it up and running before the snow comes. any and all help appreciated. tractor was last run about five years ago but has been in a barn so out of weather. joe len
