Hello I am new to the group. Thanks for having me. Could any one help me find the model year of my SS16?. The model number is 91725751 and the serial number is 12549.
I have read that the exact year is hard to determine. Thanks for the help.

Need help identifying my tractor Empty Suburban Year Model

I agree with Georgia SS. It is a 1973 - I have the same model. The 25752 is a 1974 - very minor differences.  Almost identical to the Roper 16T, too.

And, welcome!

Need help identifying my tractor Empty SUBURBAN YEAR MODEL

HI
I believe the 16T ROPER has a 16 HP. Briggs, or at least a couple of mine have, got tired of the popping old Briggs and replaced with a P220 Onan on one. Sure does work smoother. You know them old Briggs are hard to kill.

Need help identifying my tractor Empty Roper RT-16T

Post  JiminRI August 9th 2016, 10:53 pm

My comment was based on reviewing part numbers in the Owners Manuals for the RT-16T Model T63241R1 and RT-16 Model T63231R0 which both show an Onan BF/MS 2493B. The newer Roper 18T Model T8328BR is shown as having an Onan B48M. I think Roper also marketed a single cylinder similar to the Sears ST16 that they manufactured for Sears, but I don't have a manual for one of those.

I just found a post on another forum that has references to Roper sales brochures for 1973, 1976 and 1977 that show both single Briggs and Twin Onan versions of the RT-16s.
