drive washers for sears deck #917.252031

These washers have an oblong hole which drives the blades and keeps them in time.
Today I broke my last one. When I tried to order more was told they were no longer available.
Can anyone point me to another supplier?

hi, MG , check out lawnmowerstuff (dot) com . on the left side click on blade adapters , in the opened window click on sears blade adapter , the sears part number is 1044R . if i understand the right part you are looking for . yes these do hold the blades in place , from my experience i believe the intent is to protect the gearbox meaning when the blade hits something solid these are brittle enough to break allowing the blade to spin free and not damaging the gearbox . hope this helps > tim
