Sears Super 12 Carburetor Empty Sears Super 12 Carburetor

My sears super 12 carburetor is shot. it is currently a walbro LME-33, my friend has a walbro LME-49, would this work on my tractor? Tecumseh hh120?

If your friend will let you get the other carb from him to see if it will work, you can compare the two and see. If it will bolt up the same as your old one , then it my be a matter of proper jeting. If the jets are retrievable from your old one, you may be able to put them into the other one. I'm not sure what either one of these carbs looks like but I have a 12hp Tecumseh on my 1970 ss 12 suburban as well as on my 1968 Cub cadet. I know that the carbs on both have a fuel/ air mixture screw so you can make some adjustments there. Cable routing would probably be near the same so try bolting your friends carb up and see how it runs.
