Hi everyone,

After about 6 months of struggling with various issues related to old rusty parts, we finally have a suburban 38" deck on my 1977 Custom 8E. Even though we installed the mounts and the lift lever, the deck is hanging crooked, with the front about 3 inches lower than the back.

Anyone know what is going on and how to fix it? Am I missing a part?

Thanks!

I'm wondering if you have a typo in your post.

Are you really trying to mount a Suburban deck on a Custom Tractor?

Would you be able to provide pictures for us to look at and maybe give better advice?

I'm sure someone here will be able to help if we get more details.

Thanks,
Spence

Hi Spence,

Thanks for replying. I'll have to find my mechanic and have him let me in the shop and then I'll take some pix and post them. I'm pretty sure it was a suburban deck, but it seems to fit on the mower fine, except this hanging issue. I could be wrong though. I bought the deck on ebay, so I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks again. Pix to come.
