Question on paint

hey guys,
i was wondering when your restoring a tractor do you paint it just base coat then apply the decals with no clear or do you do the base then decals then clear? thanks for any info

Be careful with the clear. It will look much better cleared but some clear will eat certain paints and decals. Test as much as possible. Having graphics under clear just looks more professional but is difficult to do sometimes.

just a question, are you gun spraying or using a rattle can? what color is your tractor? i would do the clear over top-looks alot better. you can get rattle cAn clear but i never had good luck with it, runs too easy
