For Sale: 1971 Sears “Super 14” tractor, SS-14

1971 was the one and only year that Sears produced the SS 14. It has a 14 HP Briggs and Stratton, 4 cycle, 3600 RPM motor, made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has a cast iron block, 8 speed transaxle, with original tires. Complete restoration (engine, transaxle, wiring, frame sandblasted and painted, etc.) aprox 3 years ago. Painted in original Sears Jade Mist & Arctic White colors.

Comes with a 48” mower blade as pictured, and have a 42” (unrestored) that will go with the sale. Also included is an unrestored original Sears snowplow. If having the plow restored is important to you I can have it blasted and painted as part of the sale.

Everything functions properly, and it runs well. I have mowed my lawn with it a couple of summers since having it restored. There is a small brake/clutch knock, but it does not affect the proper functioning of the tractor at all.
