<span id="sceditor-start-marker" style="line-height: 0; display: none; " class="sceditor-selection sceditor-ignore"></span><span id="sceditor-end-marker" style="line-height: 0; display: none; " class="sceditor-selection sceditor-ignore"></span>recently i bought a 78 gt 18 with no engine,the onan was removed before i got it. i have a 18 hp twin from a 80,s gt18 i plan on using. now it seems the original drive pulley and the ones i see on fleabay are 1 1/8 inch id however the briggs has a 1 inch crank. anyone have any ideas for how to solve this would be greatly appreciated Question

HI
YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE OLE BRIGGS TWIN, THERE IS PLENTY OF I" ID. SUBURBAN ENGINE PULLYS AROUND, IF NOT YOU CAN SLEVE A 1 1/8" PULLY, BE SURE TO GET THE ENGINE BELT GUIDES SO THE CLUTCH BELT WILL WORK PROPERLY.

thanks jimmy,i actually have the original onan pulley and found a sleeve kit on ebay. so far all the crank pulleys i found are 1 1/8 inches though. as of right now i have 3 18 horse twins,so i know how good they are.Roger
