Found this site awhile back, thought I'd join. I've had Sears tractors for years. I have a very nice SS18 that's been faithfully cutting my grass since '97. A friend of my ex had it just sitting behind their house. It was the late Dad's tractor. Other than being a little rusty from sitting outside it was in great shape. I repainted it,made my own decals(now they're be reproduced!) The deck on it was junk but I had a decent 42" deck from my old Suburban 10. I converted it to electronic ignition in '13. It runs great, the engine's never been apart except for valve adjustments. I just put on some new front tires. I'm not working right now because of the china virus so I'm doing all kinds of projects to keep busy!!
