Tecumseh quiet muffler for Suburban 12 adds 100hp!

Well, at least it LOOKS like its 112 horsepower. I found a Tecumseh muffler on the internet made for newer 10hp engines. Had some
cutting & brazing to get the 1" npt fitting on the input end. The stainless exhaust tip was gathering dust on the shelf (just HAD to use it),
so the output pipe of the muffler was cut out and extended too..
A much quieter exhaust note than those Chinese pancake mufflers at the store.

Hi Spence,
Everyone at work asked me about that...
Its a "ding dong" bell that is foot actuated- my dad had found it years ago and bolted it on.
Sometimes you have to spray a little WD40 on the foot plunger or it just "dings" without "donging"..
