HI ANDREW
I OPENED A CAN OF WORMS A WHILE BACK ABOUT TRANS. OIL. IT IS ACCORDING TO WHERE YOU LIVE. THE SEARS OPERATORS MANUAL SAYS USE 5 QTS. OF 30 WT. NON DETERGENT IN TRANS. 30 OR 40 WT. HD WON'T HURT A THING. I LIKE TO TOSS IN A BOTTLE OF STP ALSO. FOR ENGINE OIL 1 1/2 QTS. OR JUDGE BY THE DIP STICK. IN MOST AREAS 30 WT. HIGH DETERGENT OR 30 WT HD ANY BRAND IS OK. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE OUT IN ZERO WEATHER PUSHING SNOW 5W/20, 10W20, 5W30,10W/30 WILL BE FINE. JUST MY OPINION. OIL IS THE CHEAPEST THING YOU CAN PUT IN OR ON YOUR TRACTOR. ALSO THOSE GREASE FITTINGS ARE PUT THERE TO TAKE GREASE.
HAVE A GOOD DAY
JIMMY
