1971 Sears Craftsman tractor.
Hello all
I have what I have determined is a 1971 Sears Craftsman 8 hp tractor. it is model # 536.81360. I have been able to find a carb rebuild kit through the Sears parts page, but I am in need of a seat, decals, and a steering wheel center cap. Does anyone have any good leads? Right now it is in pieces in my shop. Thanks for the help.

Re: 1971 Sears Craftsman tractor.
I used to have a rider like that. I think it was called a Dynamark or something similar.
They were made for Sears by AMF I believe.
Are your decals intact? The reason I ask is that there is no way you will be able to find New Old Stock (NOS) decals. You will have to have reproductions made by a sign shop, or one of the newer "Wrap" type vendors.
If you don't have the decals, the best bet would be to post a message to every site you can find that has to do with riding mowers or power equipment. Ask anyone if they have a photo of your rider and hope to get one that can be used to reproduce your decals.
A seat can be found on ebay. I have found them cheaper at local Tractor Shows in my area.
The steering wheel center cap will be your most time consuming venture. Again, post requests everywhere you can find a place that will let you.
Good luck!
