1976 ss16 or 1973 ss16

what brand of trans is in then? i have ser.# &type# but dont know who made then . theres a bearing went out on rt side as sitting on it by hi low shifter input .needels fell out &the cap of bearing fell to ground.if i can find brand of trans i got a chance. tnx doc.

There should be a tag on the bottom back of the trans hook to a case bolt. Use the number on the tag and go to the sears parts site.

Best we can tell the trans was made by AYP.
