Hi me and my friend just got a Sears tractor . the only numbers we can find are,model and this is the number we are not sure of 91725882 i found a model number on this page 91725880 are we miss reading the last digit of this model number.we also found SN NU. of 5292 . If it is model 91725880 then we know from this page it is a 1975 ss-16.but ours is a onan motor. Thanks for the help. My email is colemanr92@yaho.com

Both model numbers come up with the Onan 16 HP horizontally opposed engine. That is the way those tractors came because even they got caught up in the horsepower wars of the times. I don't know what engines the 1975 was offered with but I think it was the whole range from the HH 100 10 HP iron block Tecumseh to the enormous Onan.
