Site history, etc.
New here, first post a week ago, but my experience with Suburbans goes back nearly fifty years to using and occasionally working on my dad's 10hp and 14hp tractors (yup, I'm OLD), which I have just rescued from going to scrap. Curious as to who developed the site, when, why. Was there a "collector" movement at the time for Suburbans? Does the interest seem to be regional (I get no response to feelers for any other Seattle-area members)? Is the original developer of the site still active, maybe as administrator (name or internet "handle"?)? Who are the go-to "gurus" here? Not trying to pry; I just want to know a little more.
Some sort of introduction along these lines might be a helpful permanent feature for newbies like me . . . .
