HH 120 SSI spark lost during warm up
I lose spark during initial warm up on my 1972 Suburban SS 12 with a Tecumseh HH 120 motor with SSI (SSI is above the flywheel). First thing in the AM she'll fire right up, run for 3-4 minutes and abruptly quit with no further spark at the plug for the rest of the day. For some reason, and extensive cool down period is required.
My research indicates I have a 610906 SSI and a 610965 Charging Coil. I have a Micronta Multitester to help with electrical trouble shooting issues. Can anyone suggest trouble shooting techniques to isolate the problem?
