The second link has 5 manuals to choose from. The 1978 42" SnowThrower seems to be closest to your serial number.

Thanks for your reply to my request. I have down loaded the manual 826.260052. Although it is similar, it has a different drive system. It uses a drive shaft, where as the 826.260031 is all belt driven. I think 260052 will show me most of what I need to know. I would still like to have the manual for my snow thrower [826.260031]. If anyone knows where I might find one it would be much appreciated. Thanks again. LGB

but I couldn't find the complete manual.
